New research published – are the ecological effects of extreme events exacerbated by local disturbances?

Laura is co-author on a newly published manuscript examining the combined effects of gradual and abrupt changes in climatic conditions. Specifically, the focus was on how herbivory may be modified by forecasted global and local disturbances under abrupt warming events and gradual temperature increases. Laura wins UCL Australia footy tipping comp

Laura won the departmental footy tipping competition – for the second year in a row. Our plan to disrupt her tipping by sending her to Sweden for several months appears to have failed dismally.
